Epic FRENCH FOOD Tour in PARIS! | Boulangeries, Bistros, Baguettes + Eiffel Tower Tour!

Our epic last day in Paris is a sendoff like no other full of incredible food and breathtaking sights. We start the day off with a boulangerie of course and Tout Autour du Pain is another award-winning insitution that does amazing croissants and pastries.
We stop over at Laduree to pick up beautiful macarons and Caractère de Cochon for the Jambon-beurre of our dreams for an epic picnic at Champ de Mars at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
No visit to Paris is complete without ascending to the top of the Eiffel Tower and so we had to tick it off on our last day. And finally we finish the day with an amazing dinner at La Jacobine, one of the best French bistros in the city for an epic feast with the likes of French Onion soup, Coq au Vin, Duck Confit and maybe even the best hot chocolate in Paris?

how far in advance did you get your la jacobine reservation and how? By phone, in person? Thanks-love the videos!

We happened to walk past La Jacobine 3 days prior and just asked the staff if we could book a time ahead. Other than that they seem to only accept reservations via phone. Thanks for watching!!!

As someone who has lived in Paris, I can say that you ate a lot of good things, but I would never go to any of those shops or restaurants because they’re chains and/or just for tourists. Laduree isn’t even French owned these days and there are plenty of small patisseries where you can by authentic handmade macrons, not mass-produced ones

It's just butter and cheese in their sandwiches really from what we saw. I'm sure other places would do sauces but for the particular fillings we got I'd probably leave the sauces off to let the cured meats shine! Thanks for watching!!!

Of course you can find great food in Paris, but don't forget that, like all overly touristic places worldwide, Paris is a scammers' paradise, and that unfortunately includes some restaurants that don't hesitate to cheat and serve bland pre-prepared industrial food as French traditional cuisine. Before eating out in Paris, I suggest you check comments and recommendations on line, and generally avoid "eateries" close to the main touristic spots.

Caractere de Cochon much hyped, great owner, extremely helpful n friendly. Sandwich...meh, bit overrated tbh. Too many youtubers following each other to hype places like this joint. Typical Jambon Beurre in non hyped, local French places are much better. Can't beat French butter esp fr Normandy.
