Hey….. there is nothing wrong with “over the top”! I am like you, Cambriea! I remember the family time and traditions…the food, the fun, the costumes, the family times…and I really only remember my biggest gifts for Christmas…my toy kitchen when I was about 3, my first motorcycle when I was 10. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons! I cannot tolerate heat and extreme sun (always had trouble with heat…side effect of chemotherapy has made it even worse). Christmas is my favorite time to decorate. At Halloween, we have the neighbors on both sides come to our front porch. We all have our own candy supplies and hand out 3 houses worth of candy from our front porch. We have a blast and love watching the kids all come up for candy!

I always loved Halloween and I loved taking my children out on Halloween. Our decorations were on a very small scale but we always looked forward to it. We always carved a pumpkin so the smell of the pumpkin brings back memories.

Love decorating all through the year. Christmas is my favorite. I put one tree up for thanksgiving then right after thanksgiving I decorate the rest of the house and put up more trees. Love Christmas the best

Cambriea you said it best. Your kids are going to always have these great memories of decorating for both Halloween & Christmas. I mean yeah we decorate for ourselves but we also do it for the kiddos. I love seeing your entire family out working & setting it all up. I laughed thinking back to your older videos in Wisconsin where you guys were all bundled up. Now here you are in shorts & t-shirts. Gosh I remember when Bobby had to go out & get the snow off of your Xmas inflatables. I’m sure it makes this even more enjoyable not freezing your a** off setting it all up. ABSOLUTELY L❤VE IT!!!! Even more so…I loved seeing the memories & your family out working on this together. I’m sure you have cars driving by slow to check it all out. Great job everyone!!!!! Penny wise was a great idea & like you said…you may as well work with what you are stuck it. I’m sure the workers will get a chuckle. Question…have you taken the boys to any haunted houses? Halloween is my absolute favorite!! I really do it up big inside and out. My son has grown up with my love of Halloween and he’s an also a huge fan. The maniacal laughing witch in the front porch rocker, and the wildly twitching upside down person/ghost being eaten by the spider may be my two favorites, but I just love all the funny little touches and signs everywhere. The hillbilly skeleton drunken brawl is also hilarious! Too great!!❤
