Kirstie killed it in this one. Her vocals were so crisp and clean. Someone said they grabbed whatever they saw on the table as their "favorite thing" which may explain how Scott wound up with a skull. Watch it again and see all the fabric falling from the sky. Just a fun, mysterious rendition of a classic. So Pentatonix!!!

Great reaction they did say they picked up the closest thing to them which for Scott was a skull haha 😂 also they said this was the first time Matt and Kevin agreed to wear eye makeup 🙂

@@anessalyn1035 Why? It's a great song, and it's only the mention of the cane that sent me there. I often latch onto really obscure connections (like Barnabas Collins after a mention of vampires, instead of the many, MANY other vampire themed shows and movies that have come out since), so latching onto that song is not out of character for me at all.

It's a bit before your time (and American TV as well) but Mitch looks like a kinder, gentler version of Barnabas Collins ("Dark Shadows"). How's that for an obscure reference?

I remember Dark Shadows being on American TV from when I was a kid. Mitch does bear a certain resemblance to Barnabas Collins, who was a vampire.

I love the enthusiasm of your reactions. I think you have joined us in being a Pentaholic. Yes, this is a delightfully Gothic treatment of My Favorite Things. I agree that they all slay their parts, especially Kirstin in the lead. Mitch bears a resemblance to the character Barnabas Collins, a vampire, from an old show called Dark Shadows. Johnny Depp played the role in the Dark Shadows movie, directed by Tim Burton. But Mitch's look leans more to the original show's Collins character, but much, much better looking IMHO. I also had to laugh when I saw Scott cradling the skull. Whoever came up with the concept for this video and put in all the clever touches was very creatively inspired.
