Epic Home Studio Tour 2023 Homewood Sound. A lot has changed since the last full studio tour at Homewood Sound and I am stoked to share what I'm working with. We've upgraded to the Dangerfox Genesis 24 & Sidecar. Added 10 channels of Warm Audio WA273 preamps as well as some Cape Gear. I also share several hacks that have been critical in getting the most out of my home studio.

Thanks again for a great studio tour! Really like your space. I have a space very similar to yours layout gear and all and I have a question! Lol So my question is regarding playback while musicians are working with you. Do you track with headphones on the entire time? Or do you sometimes have the speakers on WHILE tracking? Usually musicians in my genre like to track with the speakers on for the extra "punch" my fear is bleed getting into my mics. I just moved into another home and am currently building my studio which is very similar to yours where drums are BEHIND my desk surrounded by GOBOS to help with acoustics and bleed from speakers so that musicians feel as comfortable as can be but also not get so much bleed into them.

We usually tend to tracks drums first.. then overdub everything else in a seperate room by the way. So my overdubs have a seperate overdub iso booth for that. Just drum overheads with the speakers on are my main concern really.

Ha! I don't use the CLA plugs for mixing or cutting keeper tracks, but when I'm demoing and needs quick reference plugs to create space with vocals and guitars I dig them. Use what works for you for you... Cheers!
