Man, i love this studio! I have a 2019 Mac Pro myself as well. Mine is also with 16-cores and while i was thinking of going with 192GB of ram, i really felt that i could do with 96gb at that moment in time as well. To this day, didn't encountered any problems. I do run a lot of plugins though, so i might hit the limit one day. 😂 192 is plenty. This is the configuration i was recommending to fellow music producers/mastering etc... together with the 16-core cpu. I wouldn't go any lower to be honest. Anyway, i love that he used the rack Mac Pro as well. It's tucked away nicely in that rack! I really love the look of it! 😍 Well done! 😎

Went to the Diamond Pro website, and listened to some mixes. Not sure how much they had to do with the recordings in their listed discography as far as mixing/mastering etc, but the mixes didn't sound nearly as good as i would expect with that level of gear. Quite a few modern country recordings, and none of them even begin to approach the level of quality i hear coming out of the big Nashville studios. However, i appreciate that they list their rates on their website, and they are VERY affordable.

A room for everything that was filled to the brim with the most up to date equipment and computer gear available, upgraded regularly. Another dope tour of another dope studio!!! I don't quite understand the statement about the "U87's" though. Those Avlex mics are certainly meant to be a U87 knockoff, and they definitely did not use any real Neumann components. They used to sell for under $200 brand new, and came out in that wave of cheap Chinese-made condensers (Marshall/MXL, MCA, 797 Audio, etc.). So unless these specific mics were completely gutted and replaced with real Neumann guts.....yea they're just cheap knockoffs and calling them "Neumann's with a different name" is a far reach. But hell, with a studio this nice, call em whatever tf you want lol.

Hello Michael, This is Travis Motley, owner of Diamond. Thank you for commenting! I do want to reassure you that not one bit of this is money-made, or financially given/gifted. This is 100% hard work, and not one bit of it is easy. I have dedicated my life to helping people with music. To help dreams come true. And to also share transparency and honesty, but not while sacrificing anything professionally. Everything you see in this studio tour has been paid for, by hard work, passion, patience, and a whirlwind of life. But again, I do appreciate you commenting and sharing your honesty. Take care - Travis.

I absolutely love this guy's setup and studio. Would LOVE to know the full cost of everything: rent, treatment ($2000 or so?), the desk (edit: found out it's about $3,500), the mics, how long it took to configure (wiring / outlet upgrades, etc?).... and how the landlord is cool with it and what their arrangement with him is! I hit up Travis' channel but no reply. Can you reach out to him Andrew? Very curious. I know a lot of people like to keep this stuff secret but it's such a cool, ideal setup. Where does Travis live? Near the house? Does he own the house he sleeps in or does he rent both? Any additional info is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks man!!

Lovely home/studio (not home studio, mind you, this is way beyond a domestic little recording nook) - but, although I hate to be negative, can't not notice the weird "I'm a rockstar and I like myself a lot and can't be really bothered" vibes of the guy, in my personal & professional opinion not the best vibe to give off when wanting to work with creative people. And a LOT of weird non-facts thrown around pretty clear to spot: good luck with the laws of physics and the wide vs. long orientation of the room sounding better , or the big glass panes behind the drumkit "redirecting the sound upwards"... good luck with those midfield Adams firing straight into the back of that big monitor screen... good luck with believing those Avlex mics are Neumanns with a different badge (Neumann never in their history authorized or sub-let their own, in-house technology and parts)... and good luck with believing Studiomaster desks were inspired by Neve or sound anything like Neve. Hmmmm. Still - plenty of interesting space saving and mains power solutions, and nice video tour!
