@@PistonsBrothers Nothing beats the pure roar of a V12 - it's music. I hope Cosworth will keep their Valkyrie V12 for the future. Their T50 V12 definitely has a long future for years to come. The Regera doesn't sing, but it's a sound very unique. I have never heard that on any car.

From the back, it accelerates so quickly the Doppler effect actually cancels out the rise in engine rpm for a while, giving the impression it makes a constant rpm, even after it goes direct drive at 270 kmph. It doesn't. It's only from 300-400 that the sound rises at all.

Well don't be surprised at that. It's got 9 gears and weighs much less. The Regera itself weighs 1590 kg, while a LaFerrari weighs 1583 kg. Jesko is under 1400 with naked carbon.

All these cars are awesome! Every single one! I know everyone is talking about Bugatti and Koenigsegg, but I just wanted to point out how amazing the Zonda, LaFerrari and F12tdf when they flew past! I’ll miss the harmonies of the naturally aspirated V12. The 918 Spyder also sounded awesome and launches so consistently! Wish there was a P1 here, that car also sounds so good.

I hope Cosworth will keep developing their 6.6 L V12 for cars other than Valkyrie. The 4.0L V12 of the T50 will be around definitely. Lambo still hangs on to theirs. And Ferrari V12s are always special. Only Mercedes AMG sacrificed their lovely V12 in the old Paganis (and that demonically good one in the Huayra R) for turbos. LaFerrari and 918 are still doing great for their age, still giving the Chirons and Eggs a fight. However as the GMA T50 and T33 show, it's time to go back to the basics of what makes a supercar a truly special experience and I hope more manufacturers will go that way than just put bigger turbos and more horses on their cars. The 458 was the last of that kind.
