The time lapse option on this phone is a great feature to have. If you want more control with focusing, frame rate and exposure, download the Lapse It app. I've been using it for a wile and I definitely recommend it.

In terms of the video portion of the iPhone, I think Apple needs to implement more stops of dynamic range. This is what makes a camera have a "film" look. Dynamic range is what would separate this from every other phone camera.

There are so many weird patterns in the grass, leaves and rocks when the camera is in movement. Still so far away from a professional camera for video (or just avoid those types of situations). Good test but it really shows the flaws (which is way more valuable than a test that plays to its strengths).

CRB Drums Tripod, monopod, and slider. All I did in post was color correct, edit, and add slight stabilization to one clip. The main purpose is to show what the camera is capable of doing. Thanks for watching!

Idk why some are complaining that Apple doesn't have 4K recording. To be honest I'd rather use an actual camera with an external recorder to get a much cleaner image. Is it nice having 4K on the Samsung Note 3/4 ? Sure but then again I wouldn't use it for a professional shoot, and for just personal use I think 1080p is good enough. Although it would be nice if Apple would have been able to give us 1080p 60fps.

Adam Hollick I've added this to the description now, but this video was shot using an iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, a smartphone tripod/camera mount, a Kessler Stealth camera slider, a Manfrotto 502 fluid head, tripod legs, a Manfrotto Monopod, and the good old state of Tennessee.

Nice, but was all outdoors, which shows these high-noise cameras in their best light... which was I guess the point. The leaves against the bright sky and the red color bleeding out of the roses were the only typical camera annoyances that persist. Were it shot in low light, well, that's when you'd see the real problem with smartphones.
