Why is this washer so quiet when it spins yet my dad’s washer is very loud. They are both VMW but my dad has a little older model (2013).

When I spin the drum on my dad’s machine it makes a quiet roaring noise and when it spins it’s really loud. It is a model number WTW4900BW0 and is high efficiency.

Hi I got this washing machine yesterday and I'm confused after the washing cycle ended it started to spin (and the light was in rinse) how can I fix that.. Is it normal? I was using the bulky/bedding mode

I'm pretty sure that's normal, but the washing machine you see in the video isn't mine.

It’s normal. I’m not a tech, but, each sequence has to cycle through. After the wash, it spins momentarily to drain the dirty water from the wash. It adds clean water for the rinse.

Thanks for this upload Samuel. I had just gone to bed before you put it up, so I have it on now for a relaxing wake up experience. Please keep this video on your channel. Kenmore is a good brand, but I prefer the front-loaders. They all depend on a smart chip now, unlike the older machines that were simply mechanical. Lots of rain around here this morning.
