Matthew Covarrubias I never said magikarp directly. I said one of the top five weakest Pokemon. Though to be more accurate one of the top 5 Pokemon people commonly believe to be weak, but this video prove otherwise. After thinking about I realize that there are several was to beat this Magikarp. Just use moves that chain attacks. Like bullet seed. Finally I'd rage quit because my team the I'd spent hours perfecting is get sweeped by technically one move and not one Pokemon. Flail is a move that get more powerful the less health the Pokemon using it has. At least last I checked that was what it does.

Well, Flail has 200 base power on 1% HP. Combined with max Speed & Attack, every pokemon is powerful.Just put up a Stealth Rock so they can't Sturdy/Focus Sash/Focus Band the hit and they're done.

There were many flaws that the opponent made, such as the ones you were explaining. The same goes with the FEAR strategy, although I find that one real funny. Try the Shell Bell Sturdy Endeavor/Quick Attack Aron. It's a fun little tactic, but has the same problem with Ghosts and priority moves. Also, I'm sorry if I seemed harsh, that wasn't my intention :)

Really late comment, but J Mann, sturdy and focus sash pokemon wouldn't be able to ruin the sweep since stealth rocks dropped their HP so those effects cannot activate.
