This is actually a MEI DT-221-TALL power unit. The biggest they make. It’s the exact same as whiskey blue.

Nice motor! I’ve always liked these dry powered pump units, though I haven’t seen many myself. I’ve seen one on a large Dover Impulse. It sounded similar to a Submersible pump unit, BUT I was told it has it’s pump underneath the oil reservoir rather than inside the reservoir.

Very nice elevator, and is it inground or holeless/roped? Also, that sure is nice to see and hear that big power unit, which sounds a lot like those older ESCO and Montgomery power units from the 1960's to 1980's. Incredibly epic.

⁠@@SkivatorI apologize, it’s just that it has been revealed. Did the manager actually tell you not to share its location though? Because it seems weird that they would want it private when it’s not in a private area. QE Elevators just uploaded a short of the machine room sound and you can see it’s in a parking garage. There is even a label by the door to the machine room that says Elevator machine and includes the elevator number (which is R3). I’m not trying to upset people it’s just that this isn’t secret and other people probably want to see it as well.

not always... Sometimes even bigger and better for faster elevators. These are atlast 100hp total combined power. This elevator has a very eic and healthy sounding motor.
