(Epic Motor) MEI Hydraulic Parking Elevators @ Apple Valley Transit Station in Apple Valley, MN

So these are interesting. This bus station used to have a 3 floor parking garage with one elevator (the one on the left). A few months ago, they decided to make the garage 2 floors taller. Because of this, they had to extend the original elevator to go higher, and build on top of the parking garage that already existed. I think this was a very smart decision as this garage was busy and almost always full. I had no idea what they were going to do elevator wise, but they always had an empty shaft right next to the original elevator car. So when I saw an MEI trailer outside, I had a feeling they were possibly adding on another elevator. It turns out they did! They extended the left elevator to go up to 5 and installed the brand new MEI on the right. I enjoy how there are 2 to ride now. I personally enjoy the left one better as it has a better motor and feels a little bigger, but the right one isn't bad at all. The motor and the panels are the same on the left one, but they just put the buttons for 4 and 5 in. The left one was always an MEI, which is why I put in an old video at the end to show what the garage and left elevator used to look like. You can see how the call button was always near the original left car. Overall, great job MEI! The garage was dead on the day I filmed because it was a Sunday, and the station is closed on Sunday's. Yet, you can still get inside the station. I was going to film the other elevators inside the station, but left when a homeless person was sleeping right next to one of the elevators.
