I can imagine how many position magnets are in the shaft. If the guide shoes gets worn or damaged, would be a bad thing if it hits some of the magnets if the distance is smaller like 1-5mm and due the "exotic" shaft layout things may happen. Also the cylinder must be huge. Is it balanced with ropes?
