Hello from N C , USA, love the videos buddy .. May I ask- do you get many comments from viewers regarding alleged "missed treasures" moments, and if so at what ratio or percentage of posted content? And, if you ever go back and review the content due to a viewer's comment - what percentage of the reported oversights are they correct or incorrect? In the video segment above, just after you deliver your intro, you show finding the button and I was convinced that in the first in-situ shot of it, it seemed to be resting on the blank face of a larger domed copper button, and 2-3 inches to the right and up an inch or so rested a black in color ring shanked button of the same size as the one you recovered, so possibly silver? Could you share your thoughts on what I think I am seeing if it isn't too much of a request? Thankyou in advance and we look forward to seeing your next video.

@@joshlogan3337 Hi Josh. I have missed things once or twice, once I missed a big key that was unmistakable. I get told I’ve missed things now and again but things on camera often appear different. Especially to those that aren’t used to the environment. These coin or ring looking things that I’ve supposedly missed, are usually just broken stones or shells or sometimes bits of Oyster shell.

I had a pet crow as a teenager- I was the partner. Every now and again I would grab him- and hold him and after a while these grey feather lice would appear at the ends of the feathers on his noggin and I would crush them with my fingers. The crow partner would have a tasty snack but not for me. They can hunt out lice on their bodies but they need a partner to sort out the head! This is the life of the Crow Bros- they pair off for life- all being well! I feed my local pair of crows and matey thinks I am being slow with the nosh he lands on the window ledge and peers in! @NickRatnieks I've got pigeons / collard doves that come onto my window and eat cat biscuits, then my cat bear, who is stupid, tries to catch them. They are smart birds, but I think most animals are smart, except for my cats.I had ducks in my garden in England, but they were tiny when I got them, and they would come when we did some digging, they loved worms, and then they would cuddle me. We don't get crows here, we'll I have never seen one. Owls, seagulls, parrots, hupupu/ that's what we call them, a kind of wood pecker, Robins, wagtails, shallows, and many more. Love your story ❤️ 💕

What great finds. I’m heavy doing silversmithing now. I made a bologna out of copper. I’ve been trying to figure out the back tie clasp. The buckle at exact 23 min is the perfect solution. I can build that simply out of one sheet of copper, but I’ve already got two tubes attached to the back. I will flatten them a bit, and then carve out the double loop with grating. Thank you, perfect solution perfect timing.

Hey Si! I've been a bit of a slack follower and only just watched this video, so not too sure if you'll read the comment. I LOVED the mud painting. Regarding those bangles, they were probably part of a religious offering. As a fellow upcycler I can assure you they're not junk for the bin.😊 You can make them into balls with a little wire, thread, string, or tape. Those balls can be used as cat toys, or a way to display smaller items inside them. I love cheap, mass produced bangles as I get them 2nd hand from charity op shops and create trees inside the ball. World globes. I'd love to see you up-si-cle some with a Thames theme. All the best!
