Have you ever considered using fish tranquilizer to move them around and not risking damaging fins or even killing them as they are heavy and their organs can get damaged for the sheer weight unassisted out of water? koi keepers use it all the time for koi handling they just get numb. i use it myself for topic treatment out of water

2:16 these fishes are not shipped from overseas nor from wholesaler rather a gift from hobbyists themselves and they had discussed the fishes' health in the previous video so they might have thought it's not necessary for QT

@@nirazbal656 Yes. I do understand the concept of how diseases in fish spread and why QT is considered best-practice regardless. I have also heard just about all the excuses given for skipping QT elsewhere in other YT channels more than once. Things like ick can become a problem just from the stress of being moved in some fish - just for one example. Not MY fish though at the end of the day. I was just a bit surprised at the gamble.
