As for that Cherokee with the big tires...I think those might be 38” tires as the rig itself looks like the company Arctic Trucks got ahold of it like they do with the Hiluxes. This is most likely Iceland as those types of modifications are popular if not necessary for that type of terrain. Something Arctic Trucks capitalizes on quite well.

Yes artic is cool. But no those tires are like 50"-51" tires I can just look at the relation to the vehicles quarter panels and fenders to see they are gigantic much larger than 38". Very cool rig though for sure tons of money in just tires and lift alone.

5:45 they use big ass tires like that cause they have lots of frozen water to cross in russia. if the vehicle can float that solves a lot of problems when the ice breaks. that's just a guess anyway cause every russian expedition vehicle has something similar, or its tracked.
