I felt that too...if I had to be particular, it recalls specifically to memory Vivaldi's winter score from the four seasons. Yet I suppose the orchestra in a way amplifies the effect of the violin and lends it it's own marvelous and unique touch, which I suppose is very ingenious. What a masterpiece, really.
