Hey Mark! I've got a question for you. I recently got into the rc car hobby about a month ago and purchased a traxxas rustler 4x4 vxl, I wasn't please with the speed out of the box so I opted for a 18T pinion gear to run with my 3cell lipo battery. My only issue is the car overheats within a couple minutes, I put a power hobby fan on the esc and motor but it isnt really helping. Do you have any suggestions? I've looked up the issue and it seems to be pretty common, but a fan isnt the solution to my problem.

You need to upgrade your electronics to a hobbywing one. I've put hobbywing on my xmaxx and Max trucks and they are soo much better with those systems. More torque, speed and no overheating. Good luck 👍

Hey Sir, thank you for your channel . I want to let you know it's 110% your fault for me falling back in love with RC and even traxxas Nitro to boot. Yes I am in need of some Jato parts . Especially need a new carb body because traxxas just loves dropping the ball and dragging there feet when it comes to there nitro line . Apparently they don't mind Losi, o.s. plus others to see there issues and correct it for the traxxas guys just end the aggravation , generate sales best part about it is the problem is solved by the competition. Maybe we can open Traxxas's eyes , hearts to put some more care into there product's for there consumer's I mean dang were the ones who have made it possible for them to have that bad to the bone retail store. Thank you again for your educational information . With that said I would like to challenge you to a special style of racing I am interested in. I have a very nice , very technical street oval track that we can legally Access from dusk till dawn and make as much noise as want . It's not out in the country either. Can't help it I came through a box to this realm . So i will always think outside the Box... So if your interested or if anyone else is interested in this type of outlaw street racing . Yes all races will have some type of wager as in 10 - 100 dollar a race winner take all. Or you can put up parts , tools etc. Bro I will even race you for a McDonald's Meal. Yes we are adults , But I am not racing any kids Why because there here after us . So automatically they have a better processor, larger hard drive, shucks haven't even had a chance to short out / loose important brain cells. Short answer adult Males are not the king's of be planet . Women are better at anything that we are already good at. But yet just like your mini me so glad to see him straight school all the grown folks. Lol Any how apologise for the left hand turn . But I had to let it out. ALSO I am currently searching for a dirt, concrete , asphalt spot. Open for other thrown away materials that we can drive on like different types of carpet, hmm I wonder how well it would do if we anchor down tightly like old quilts , blankets but only have one or two on the track just to throw a wrench in the hammer pile. I prefer to only race dry if there is dirt involved I do have access to some dirt equipment if we ever need to do a little dirt work . Also if anyone owns portable ramps that we can throw out there just to give us one more random obstacle to race with. Can't help it I am thee type that will get bored racing at the same track , same time , etc . This is a laid back , run wghat you bring , no Drama, no dirty racing unless one of us falls in the mud . Yes bring the family , if your a grown person male of female we all should have a filter for others around us . Hope to hear from you or anyone else that's interested .
