Ed is beyond phenomenal. I hang on every word he says since he knows his science, nature and Aquascape equipment. I will always watch a Pond Guy video if he's in it.

Biological mimicry..... I could listen to Ed for hours. I went to my sister's yesterday. She had a pond started last fall. She has 3 skimmers. I was able to lift the lids and show her the inside and explain the components. I was able to describe to her what her wetlands filter was, what it does and how to plant it. ( She was going to have the infant wading pool in the wetlands filter. Lol) I did not see any biofalls. She thought I was a genius. I learned it all from Aquascape.

My favorite design aspect is the slate bottom that has aeration bubbles coming up. The second favorite is Ed explaining our water features start with a trickle that lead to larger bodies of waters down stream. A design trick that shouldn't be forgotten.

If I ever won the lottery, I would have my dream home built and then I would spend the REAL money on an Aquasquape pond and waterfall landscape. LOL. I wouldn't have to buy a piece of property on a river and then worry about flooding or grandkids drowning. These guys are amazing. I've never seen anything that is even close to the beauty of their designs. Well done, gentleman Well done.

The stream, numerous water falls & pond are just spectacular. Beautiful water... but what sets this design for me is the massive rocks bordering the far side of the pond. The sheer faces with the natural crags really lending to that carved out look. Also love the size of it. How dynamic it appears, growing and changing as it flows along. Damn how I wish I had Trump money right about now!

I’m simply envious!! I just got into the beautiful Aquascape life style. First let me say your channel provided so much useful information. I love the Aguascape products! Simply the best out there. I REALLY wish I had the property I used to have in PA before I moved to Myrtle Beach. However I’m really enjoying and blessed to have what I do. I have one question though. I spent all summer on construction. Now I have a very good eco system. The water is crystal clear. My Koi are growing. I actually added a second deeper pond next to the original for the bigger fish. Now my question is aquatic plants. I threw in a few plants to help with algae along with barley straw. Now I’ve turning my attention to adding more plants. Floating plants are nice because they give fish protection. I do have a few potted plants as well. What I want to know is what do you recommend to fertilize all the plants. I have tablets you can put in potted plants but what should I do for the floaters? Will enough of the tabs dissipate into the water to do the floaters? Is there a liquid fertilizer you can add that won’t harm the fish yet do the job? I appreciate your recommendations and thanx for all the great videos !

Great vid as always! I have a question. On such a large pond/ feature is the water still turned over at least every hour? Or with so much biological filtration is it not as necessary?

I've seen almost all of your videos and love every single one! I love your passion Greg and Ed! I live in the Philippines which is an archipelago surrounded by water and I grew up beside a natural pond myself. As long as the pond is two feet deep and you keep a hole in the ice for exchange of gasses, the koi should be fine. They go into hibernation.
