As a German I have only read and seen some videos about the Severn. It seems to be a really nice river for barbel and chub. Congrats of catching some beautiful specimen. Unfortunately in my area in Germany there are no rivers like Severn. That's really a pity because I really fell in love with such type of river right from the beginning, when I read about it and have seen some vintage videos, where some specialists went for barbel, using beautiful pin reels. Did you guys ever consider to try out some old-school-fishing with pins and maybe even cane rods?

Amazing content....I have a friend who I regularly go Pike fishing with he's very very well known in the pike world...we are members of a water that hold massive Pike up to 40lbs...it just so happens he's also the guide for the water. Come across the pond. I live in Kentucky. Love bass fishing the best Many lakes around. Many. Plus no one fish for carp. I see and catch them sometimes. I used to catch carp at local golf course when younger I got boat and all the gear. Top shelf to. 70 miles a hour on water is fun and handy less drive more fish
