As I mentioned, the Balance Patch this time around is coming right before the E7WC, so it's not going to contain huge changes. The patch that happened this time last year was with Lionheart, Ruele, Mort, etc. I'm just happy to see Sylvan Sage Vivian with an interesting buff that might make her more viable! And, of course, Riolet joining Spez and the gang with innate Evasion.

They probably didn't mess with FCeci because like you said, E7WC. So they may want to do something bigger for her that may disrupt the meta but didn't want to do it going into E7WC. They could buff her twice in a row I guess with small buffs and monitor her performance, but that'd be smart and we know they prefer to just unleash crap like Jenua instead.

i think the interesting perspective that is said by valky i saw, is that all balance patch before world championship shouldve been like this, where there are no major change to ruin the meta (if it does, then its going to make a mess on the whole esport scene, basically making all competing players research and training mostly obsolete with the massive meta shift)

Yeah, I mentioned that as well. We see this every year around this time. Last year it was Lionheart, Ruele, Mort, etc. who got buffed. Small adjustments are fine and the E7WC events start tomorrow. We can expect the next balance adjustment or the one after that to be more significant.

Damn, when I saw Yuna in the list I was hoping for her s1 to always crit like her s3, but they REMOVED it. Feels bad man. Sage Vivian buffs look good, I’m guessing she won’t be affected that much by ML Politis at the start of the battle since it says her focus will be full, plus she won’t be debuffed by either Mage Luna or any other opener 🫣 which is great!

I am super happy about SSV change. If i understand it correctly she is immune to things like def break, sleep, stun, bomb, seal, buffblock etc. this way she will always have place in anti debufff comps. I know its only when she have 3 or more focus but debuffers usually don't do significant dmg with their hits. She also have tankier start and better attack stacking. All good things. I used her even before this buffs so i am very hopeful. As for fcc, they probably want to make a bigger change and couldn't do it right now couse of championship. Could be cope but who knows

When Yuna at home becomes better lol. For some context, that version of Yuna has Auto-crit on S1 and S3. Absolute menace in a game that doesn't have Roana yet.

The yuna buff or nerf throws a bit of a wrench into my yuna because I build her on counter set with bloodstone and good amount of sustain and she doesn't have too much crit rate. So i kinda relied on the guaranteed crit on her s3 which does a ton of damage. So with that gone i may have to give up some of her sustain to compesate for the crit loss. The extra turn and 3 turn buff on her s2 was perfect!! s1 is still pretty good for turn cycling as well.

I think the buffs are pretty niche but nonetheless they are buffs so i'm pretty excited. Other than that, I want to know if you will be livestreaming the e7 championships this season, if you have the time of course. I would love to pitch in and see some live commentary from you, because it is pretty enjoyable hearing your commentary in your own videos. Maybe I can learn a thing or two!

Personally I think it would have been better if they also did another balance patch sooner after this, but after the WC. I get not wanting to interfere with the E7WC but considering it'll be the same amount of time between this Balance Patch and the next - it just feels rough, and the least they could have done is rebalance some 3-star heroes/SCs that need it (Muse Rima/Chaos Inquisitor/Roozid) instead of those horrid artifacts.

Silvan Sage does >NOT< gains 5 Focus at the start. she gains FULL focus, i wonder if she ignores Politis since you cant just "halve" a "full"

The only change I think to note is fire meru is really good with blood moon haste, and this buff helps her with that. Other than that, SSVivian still instantly dies to all forms of true damage. Riolet does damage. Nothing else to read sadly. Really dissapointint

Fire Meru with ML Haste is actually quite interesting! I guess it would be in a similar vein to Arby with ML Haste. I think SSV has potential. Her kit is now better suited to be a solo DPS carry, which is neat!

@@azallea agree that ssv is scary, but she still has all the same weaknesses as before. Solitaria, rimuru, ae-Karina, etc. I just worry she’s a bit slow in the current meta. I could see her being used with ML senya but straze/mg Lilia’s will one shot her

Vivian is the clear winner with merce here the buff for riolet is nice but since shaltear always hits i dont see him being good again but why is there still no ml basar buff he really needs it, being a cleanser is good but i think he passed his prime long ago and is only used for the readiness wich Laia can do aswell 10 times better.

If they are going to keep making these filler patches. Then why bother? It is a waste of time and money plus image wise. Just makes the balance team more a joke than ever.
