I got tired of my guild being inactive so i made my own and invited a bunch of random people along with some friends. We aren't doing great on the crest side of things, and some days we don't get many donations, but most days everything is up and running nicely!

my mistake that i really regret is neglecting the SC change hero pool for about a month and focusing too much on nat 5 heroes. after learning more about the game i realized that even lower rarity heroes have their uses, especially the SC change heroes. had i focused on getting amomo, fluri and aras early on i woulda probably progress much faster in the game.

I didn't know that you gained rewards even for losing. I was under the impression that losing would be costly because I used play another mobage called Langrisser that had an AI Arena like E7. In that game, you are required to get at least 12 points in arena to get 15 crystals (equivalent to Skyshards in E7) and you can't get that by just beating anyone's defense. You have to defeat the one that gives +3 points. It's interesting to see that not only there is no hierarchy, you don't actually lose much if you happen to lose.

I believe the time when I can get a lot of saved gold is when I get to gear my most used units. I haven't reached that moment yet, so I'm upgrading my gears constantly and ending with less than 100k gold - even during buff events.

As long as you're rolling/crafting wisely and seeing good gains from spending that gold, I think that's perfectly fine!

My first mistake as a beginner was playing E7 in the first place during global launch! Kappa! Nah, on the real, honeymoon stage over. SG rekindle the flames by releasing my husbando Straze already. Also I got to be part of an awesome E7 community which helped a lot during this Pandemic. Good Video Kuya! LOL!

The only thing I seem to struggle with is getting good gear. Why must a thing as essential to make-or-break a unit be locked behind chance?! I've spent one whole year trying to gear one unit, just one bloody unit, and I still don't have anything that can be considered decent. RNG seems to hate me most in the only game I loved. It's so frustrating.

I know this question is not backed by tons of info about my f2p account but: is it OK and normal progress if I reached end of storyline 1 after 3 weeks and can defeat that wyvern on its level 9 version after week 4? My only really strong unit was Vildred or what's his name (then I summoned Bellona in week 2 or 3). I seem to do ok in pve but I'm stuck in pvp bc I have none of those super deluxe heroes that everybody uses in the arena. I still enjoy my progress and want to focus on the pve stuff anyway. Should I then fully maximize my Vildred??

The first 2 months I was pretty dumb, I used to play at launch but came back after a year and made a new account, I got vildred for some reason, kinda wish I got sigret, anyways the first 2 months I would pull on every banner lol, maybe I just liked the idea of pulling and for the first 4 banners I had all the characters from them, but the more I played I kept getting more and I felt so dumb for not saving and not getting any limiteds.

The biggest mistake I ever made was using characters as promotion materials. That shit cost me my 1st ML5 that I got from 70 free summons.(I didn’t know at that time how rare or even what ML was)

What about characters with devotion? Would 5 star character with no devotion still be better than 3 star characters with full devotion?

Hey Chestin, devotion is a nice addition but it is by no means more important than having a better 5* character. That being said, there are some very strong 3*'s that can compete with 5*'s, but for the most part - devotion or imprints is a very small boost in the grand scheme of things.

Yielding like that in Arena must be so frustrating for the other player. Their arena defense stats suffer a lot. Its a bit toxic imo.

@@Belkak021 They would not know how effective their current defense is because their stats are messed up because of the inting. How do you expect people to know the true performance of their defenses if you just keep inting them? The defense win rate is what I use to determine what my defense is weak/strong against. It does become an issue when someone ints on my defense.

@@sibonelozaca1390 What? 1 win will not impact your defense stats... 99.99% of players will just take the free win and again, a few free wins will not affect anything. You'll know how good your def is regardless of a few people just yielding

@@Belkak021 I'd rather people try to win against my defense. If inting is done often by a lot of people, it can become an issue, hence me not supporting its promotion. We shouldn't ruin other people's experience just to get a few points. A proper win-rate is what I want for my defense. I need to see real feedback for my improving strategy and gearing.

Very good tip - also to add onto this, not just selling DDJ but make sure you keep multiples as well. Your first wyvern team will most likely want at least 2 (if not 3) DDJ's.

Start with maximum advantage that is to start with sigret for wyvern 13 to get high end gear asap, and a good hero from the current running banner. the game SC change pool have exceedingly good heroes for newbies and the free tieria is awesome for just about anything at the start so the 2 starting nat 5 is what will determine your progress speed in the beginning.

I should have stated working on pets more early. But the thing is, looking back at it, now that I have sorted out my pets. I just have never pulled a single S tier adventurer pet! All my S tier pets are lobby pets

Not at all! It may be a bit tough if you want to reach the absolute peak of PvP (Legend RTA/top 100 etc) but even that would just take time and dedication. Outside of that it's a great time to start.

Well, when I was new, a friend of mine told me that only 5 stars were good in arena, and all the best players use the moonlight 5 stars. THIS DOESN'T MEAN TRANSMIT ALL THE UNITS THAT AREN'T 5 STAR!! I could've had champ zerato, blingo, crescent moon rin, and even t.surin had I not sold them to transmission (all of which are incredibly good units). Still don't have these units to this day, DON'T SELL UNITS THAT AREN'T 5 STAR!!!!
