The game is very F2P friendly. After 5 years, I have almost every single character in the game (289/299), and I only spent money on a pack they did for charity, because.. it was for charity, which gave you basically nothing more than a lobby pet and a frame for your profile if I recall right. The self control part is the important aspect of being F2P in E7. When you get the character, you stop. Unless it's a Limited, there's no reason to chase the Artifact. Don't chase imprints. Skip non-Limited units if you can't pity. There's no reason to spend 250 bookmarks with no chance of hitting pity, ending up with no bookmarks and not getting the character you were chasing. Every 2-3 months or so, expect a Limited unit, so save up to prepare for that. Over time you end up having so many of the units in the game, that you can skip banners of units you got too, giving you weeks at a time where you are gaining resources. At this point, I have all the non-Moonlight units, so I can comfortably collect resources while I wait for the next new character which I will have more than enough resources for to pity if it comes to it. Also don't waste your Skystones on Huche. He's a scam. Make sure you check the onstove page every so often for little events where you just got to copy what other people are writing to get a couple Leif. Hop on their Discord and take the weekly poll for some more Leif. And try to get into a casual playstyle after a while where you watch your daily ads in the events UI, do the web event for the day to collect some Energy and rewards, buy the Energy from the shop and play/auto until that Energy is spent, every other day, do your Guild Wars battles to the best of your ability, make sure you use your Arena flags after you've climbed and can start coasting on the NPC Challenge battles for some Skystones, then let the game rest for a bit until the Energy has recharged some 10-12 hours later. Auto a bit again, then let it rest, rinse repeat daily. Eventually you can sit on 600+ Leif that you can then start spending during events or when you feel an itch to play.

@@christophermauro-barias7451 What doesn't include MLs? Not sure what you mean. I am missing 10 units, these are ML5 and ML4 units, two are ML4. You can get quite a lot of ML with Mystics and Moonlight (Gold Transmit Stones). Then there's the selectors and you can of course get a few random lucky daily pulls, especially when there are events that gives +10 daily summons. Eventually you get dupes, so you can pick ones you don't got out of the Moonlight Coin store too when they show up on rotation.

Could I get an opinion on the limited time growth packs that you get when you pull a 5* and the spec change pack with the rune selectors? I've been buying a some of those since they seemed like decent value (since epic catalysts and runes are just so tedious to farm) but I'm not too sure about the math.

I have question that is not related to this video. Regarding story summon, does the pity reset if i choose another story summon banner? For example I have 20 pity less on destina but i want to change to someone else, so will the pity reset if I change the banner? Really could use some advice

been watching and playing since EU server came and out and hes 100% right. Epic seven is a marathon not a sprint to the finish line. Gear is the carrot that we all chase and not heroes. No matter how much u spend rng is still rng. thats why people end up quitting or playing for years.

My lvl 75 gear rolled hp from level 3 to 12. My gear gacha has been terrible

That's not terrible. HP gear is what you need on tanks, Soul Weavers (with high Eff Res) and bruisers. It's not just about speed. Also, most of the lower level gear and early arena gear is designed to roll like shit. It all mostly rolls like shit. It's by design. It's not just you.
