Epic Seven | Over Reliance On Meta is Bad!

Since the old days, I feel like RTA has been riddled by meta units, I mean fair enough they are called meta for a reason But the problem is a lot of people overrely on these units, they might be broken but not omnipotent. If you go to Reddit or something you'd see a bunch of posts saying they can't play RTA because they don't have meta units This game has tons of heroes, and while most aren't meta, a fair share of them are more than viable and strong if you can think of a setup for them even with mediocre gears. You just need a good synergy between your draft when it comes to non-meta heroes. Part of why I could get Crab twice is mostly due to people being lazy to think and overrely on meta to carry them, it makes drafting predictable and by giving them the most broken meta heroes, I just have to gear 6-10 units to counter the meta flowchart to win because I know they will pick them. Just a little rant of mine, seeing some new Reddit posts every week about RTA being impossible due to not having most meta units kinda pissed me off lol

Gear is the crux of it all, a busted unit with mediocre at best gear can be dragged into the grave by a well geared unit, especially in a well thought out team. The trap is thinking you need a certain unit, but the end of it all is gear, gear topples it all.

You rarely see channels that highlight non meta units and make it work I like old days rta then again its not much difference there are meta then as well what I hate is it is required to have 2 or more meta unit to play rta. But really idk thats pvp and the heavy reliance on rng its like summoning but in battle form

Sharklot and cdom may not be meta, but zio and siseria definitely are, I got your point tho, I don't have empinav, ml lua, ml luna, ml tywin, laia, ml haste, ml senya , archdemon and none of the SSS characters(except for ml politis), but still got to 2700 points even though my account don't have even 1 year.

Zio is def meta but I'd argue that seaseria is not. I'd say she's just viable.

I really do think they should just change it to once an ally loses that much health in total. There are just so many things that sneak that it feels like an oversight. Burn detonation, extra damage and multi attacks just screw her over and those are in abundance rn.
