Definitely an outboard for me. I don’t hunt anything that I would need a mudmotor for and I hunt a lot of big water in MN so the outboard definitely would do it!

Mud Motor for sure! Here in Utah the marsh is mostly mud and a little water. Can't beat a Mud motor for these conditions! Camjetulain

Great videos. Lots of bombs dropping. I have never been around a mud motor. My thought is they run like a lawnmower. No cooling system. Outboards I have used needs water to cycle through and keep them cool. Duck hunting around me you get some pretty bad freeze ups. I would think the mid motor would minimize damage due to freezing not to mention always having to flush the grit and debris kicked up in them shallow waters. Just my thought. Keep shooting. No insta handle by the way

Ive got a 90 jet on a 1860 jon right now and love it as long as there aren’t too many weeds. I am considering a mud motor for my 13’ layout boat tho, which would be a first for me. Killer video and setting! @jtdurant

I would give anything to use mud motors. The wma we hunt has outlawed them so we end up unclogging the pee holes in our outboards every once and awhile. Mud motors would be game changing.

Outboard motor is my preference here in Oklahoma, when we hunt the big water it’s the only way to go, being able to cover long distances scouting that’s necessary to find and kill limits on public, plus my Yamaha is so quiet. Millard_ranch
