Epic Music Shall Prevail can i answer this for you? Trailer Music is term that is used for this kind of music, because companies can buy these songs for their products. Such as movies, soaps, advertisments but mostly used for Trailers. Most of these songs you can find on the net are never used or might get used in the future. "Trailer Music" has nothing to do if it appears in a trailer, its the purpose of this music that gave it the term. "Epic Music" is a word the community started to give this music, because its easier to understand or to relate to.

What you say is extremely interesting and I thank you for that! I started to say "Epic Music" because when I first heard this type of music in a youtube video, the latter term what used, and I continued after that.Then I started to do some researchs on why people would use this word. I personally think trailer music, if I can use the term you employed to define what I call epic music, is not used in soap, because epic music as such an atmosphere that doesn't fit well with this kind of visual art. I just prefer to say "Epic Music" because "Trailer Music" would show the function of this music, it says "this music is used in a trailer of some kind". Anyway you"re perfectly right, Epic Music is only some Trailer Music waiting for a trailer!
