Thanks, Jim. As an ex-engineer, I'm in awe of how the victorians brought innovation to the world.

Reminds me of my childhood days when me and my mates used to cycle to Pipe Hill and Seedy Mill. In those days the watchman were happy to show us around, the beam engines were amazing, much better seeing them in real work rather than powered by an electric motor at Birmingham Science Museum (though I used to spend a lot of time there as well :smiley: ) Great filming as always Colin :clap:

@Qwackers-video Cheers Mark. It is a brill place and the volunteers are so welcoming and knowledgeable. Look on their website for their scheduled steam day events as much better to see them all animated. Sight, sound, and smells are awsome.

Love the video well put together...You also have the right voice for it! I was in Derbyshire this weekend.

@onemandrone Thanks, matey. It's a funny thing about my narrating. A mate persuaded me to use my own voice instead of AI. I was sceptical, to say the least, but must admit it seems OK and is loads easier! 😆

A much bigger place than the small one I did last month - and a lot moreinteresting with all the interior video too m8. 👍
@DocColVideo2 ай бұрын
@starshipwonaprize-dronevideos Thanks, Paul. It was a brilliant afternoon, watching the enthusiasts milling around. The engines weren't the only beams about as the smiles on the dads faces were evident as they showed their young ones what the victorians did for us!
