Bobby, this is the first time I have seen drone footage of the surfing at Cloud Break. You are a videographer extraordinaire. Fabulous footage. Another awesome episode guys - especially in 4K! Thank you for the fantastic footage of Cloudbreak, I’ve been a surfer since I was six years old and I’ve never seen decent panoramic footage of the break (Until now that is!) to get a real understanding of the layout of the place (And that also goes for Musket Cove resort - todays’ episode was a real education, as well as being very beautifully filmed and edited. Not having ever been around a surfing area I have to admit that was spectacular to look at the waves from a drone. 4:13 The surfer does what's called a "punch out" where they try to exit the wave by passing through it. It is used when the wave is closing out in front of you and allows you to exit the wave without straightening out into the whitewater and forced a long paddle back out. If you do it correctly, the wave will pass by you. If you do it without enough speed, the wave will pull you backwards over the falls for a hard landing. It looks like the surfer knows he's partially through and is taking one more arm paddle to absolutely make sure he makes it through.
