My understanding of the Army Men lore from the 3DO game series: Green Nation are the United States. Republic of Tannenburg are Nazi Germany. Blue Nation are France and Great Brition. Grey Nation are either the Vietcong or the Confederacy. Depends how you interpret the lore. Red Republic are the Soviets. There also exists an Orange Nation but they were merely mentioned in Sarge's Heroes 2. There also exists separate factions within the Blue Nation, Tan, and Green nation's that do not uphold current allegiances.

TBH, The greens should have expected this. With a huge increase in Tan Plastic production and more military on their borders. Plus, the Tans and their notorious history with the greens.

i see this game uses similar interface as Soldiers: heroes of ww2 by codemasters- for example the Yellow crosshair , red target, and blue location marker are the exact same for that game- also used in Men of war as well i think- pretty cool
