I love that Celestial Park is IP free. The rest of the park is an IP wonderland so its nice to see some IPless aspects. The Atlantic restaurant, the carousel, etc.

I am actually looking forward to seeing Epic Universe especially Dark Universe and Super Nintendo World. The Constellation Carousel looks amazing it is sad Disney did not push forward with the now-shelved Mary Poppins attraction Disney announced at a prior D23. The proposal would have had the carousel being a faux merry-go-round with ride vehicles (horses, as well as other carousel-style options) going around the track a number of times before a track switch would send them into a show building. This would have made it feel like the carousel creatures were leaving the attraction a la the film. Once those ride vehicles were gone, the vehicles from inside the show building would return for a rotation before allowing riders to disembark. Maybe this is is as close as Universal could get to that idea. The Universal Helios Grand Hotel looks awesome but I do believe Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta has an exclusive entrance for their hotel Guests called the Hotel/Park Gateway that gives guests direct access to Tokyo DisneySea. Finally, I am surprised that Disney did not come up with this portal idea and implement it for their resorts because I am impressed with this idea it looks amazing. All I have to say is well done Universal!

Ok so with How To Train Your Dragon, I think the flying dragon ride should have been like Flight of Passage. Theoretically they could have had Dynamic Attractions design a version of the flying theater for them that would be different enough from Flight of Passage to not get sued by Disney but be a perfect attraction for that IP.

I totally agree on the cannibalization of the original park. There is a possibility that Epic Universe gets more people to visit the resort and those additional people tag on the original park. For example, I've never been to Universal Orlando. Now that Epic Universe is opening I can see myself planning a trip there. And we will probably hit up the original park for half a day on that trip.

I'm not going to lie on social media no one talks up Universal parks like disgruntled Disney Parks fans. Yeah George is correct Universals icons aren't placed like Disney's so it wouldn't suprise me if the icon of Epic Universe is the Chronos. I also think that is the model they sent out to people. Your coaster theory about only theming a queue could possibly be true, however I think it could also be because coasters drive the eyes to them since there's so much kinetic energy. For Starfall Racers I think it'll probably be a better ride at night if the lighting package is good. I do like the rockwork though.

When people visit Florida parks, most take breaks, so a week is definitely possible. People go there to vacation, which means longer stretches of time commitment. Five theme park days is definitely going to be possible, especially with guests spending one of those days at Volcano Bay.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they have a pay per Portal admissions. Starts at the Chornos Portal, as a base admission and there you plan your Portal add on$. Or it’ll be just One Expense ticket, we shall see.

OrangeGrove 55. Lad's I never thought I'd say this, but I have to get over there so I can grab some Merch from "Dark Universe" Land. I'm after a "Frankenstein" pop corn bucket head. The skull slides off so you can get to the pop-corn inside. I've also got my eye on the " Wolfman" sipper. Then it's over to Dracula's Lair for a meet and greet with all the creepy ghouls while chowing down on home cooked vittles. Like a Monster burger and "Mummy" fries. Just reading about it makes me want to start packing the suitcase. All Disney will have is a re-run of a "Figment" pop corn bucket to try and get everyone over to WDW property. Is there any truth to the rumour that on the day "Epic Universe" open's Disney's Monorail Trains won't be running because the new DeSantis Board running WDW will bring foreward the annual Monorail inspection day's? As one board member was heard to say, " At least the buses are still running!" Cheers, Chris Perry.

I'm so down with George about Harry Potter again is too much and honestly a Pokémon portal would of raised the bar for EPIC Univere even Greater! I do understand that having Pokémon at the other two be better to counter balance the old parks. If you really want to Epic the older parks then you need Pokémon, SpongeBob, and all the classics back Back to the Future, etc. I just don't want to hear from audience's saying for WDW they are tired of Frozen or Moana because no one is saying that for Harry Potter and the importance should be we get incredible lands and rides like Tokyo if not and not just replacements all the time or downgrades to unique Epcot or unique resort hotels!

Either the Harry Potter ride or the Monsters ride should be Rise of the Resistance level. Anything less than that and I will be disappointed.
