These are AnsaldoBreda F19 busses. Mertro Copenhagen sounds the same and is also made by AnsaldoBreda. Coincidence? No.

I think Ansaldobreda still supply these VFD's with their currently produced trams. I have seen videos of Sirio's that have been built with them, and the Sirio is still available at the moment with a batch being built for Beijing rather recently. Although it now seems popularity for Ansaldobreda has dropped after all the problems with the Gothenburg M32's.

The VVVF Hz frequency is the same as the HRI Driverless Metro (i.e. Milan M5) and Genoa's 30 series trains (sets 31-37) As a trolleybus fan it is really unusual to hear the same VVVF from the trains in a trolleybus. The only other trolleybus with a train VVVF drive i heard are the Berkhof trolleybuses. Keep in mind that these trolleybuses were produced by Breda, so this may explain the use of this particular drive, as it's used in many italian produced trams, trains and trolleybuses.

Ah i forgot, japanese Tateyama and Kurobe Dam trolleybuses also have VVVF drives. They are GTO Toshiba inverters

Same VF drive as the Manchester Metrolink T68a Trams Ben and also the Copenhagen metro.

See if you can get into the VF settings using an OBD tool, then change the PWM frequency setting (sometimes known as the carrier frequency) to as low as it will go, or somewhere around 1000hz.
