"More recognition"? She is still way bigger than any pop metal singer you see out there nowadays, including Simone. She was huge amongst the depressive metal scene on the 90's, when Simone was just a teenager. Her style of music was way more serious and introspective back then. It has bigger artistic value, if you believe in such things.

Out of all singers what I love most about anneke is she smiles as she sings which is very heartwarming because she shows how much she loves to sing. That's what makes her beautiful inside and out.😊

Anneke is very much recognized. Her work with The Gathering was nothing short of brilliant. Her solo stuff however... Too much recognition might not be such a good thing. Look what happened to Floor Jansen.
