Mark Jansen commenting on this song: We know the guys and girl from Fleshgod Apocalypse already for quite a long time and toured together. There’s a lot of mutual respect for each other’s music, so when we approached them to work together on a track, they were right away enthusiastic. I did send them some very basic ideas I had for two songs, so they could pick what they liked the most. They ended up using all the ideas and combining them into one song. That was already very promising. From there on, we organized several sessions where we worked on the song together. The process was very smooth and very inspiring. I think the result is a perfect blend between both bands!

I love the song, but I don’t know enough about Fleshgod Apocalypse to be able to tell which sounds are their contributions. I wish they would have given some info about that.

Yep, awesome job...The back and forth rollercoaster of your expressions, from "shear delight smile" to that "this is filthy stinkface" and of course, the eyes watering up. I will be going to her concert next sunday Oct. 23rd in Utrecht - featured guests: Alissa White-Gluz (they've just done an amazing collab) Eliane Anemaat (cello) and with Marcela Bovio as support. Also looking forward Epica's EP and their collab with Charlotte.

Wasn't familiar with Fleshgod Apocalypse but damn this is good. Not sure how much of these are them and how much is just Epica lol but it sounds amazing This EP seems to be fire. Epica continues to be in top form!

Italy and Holland mixed together. Symphonic death metal /symphonic metal. The 2 bands have a lot in common. For me epica is musically more complete than Nightwish. And Fleshgod apocalypse Death metal band more original the other type of death band. I'am italian and proud for Italian metal. 🎸🇮🇹🇳🇱

Interesting. Mark has worked with a lot of artists (notably Floor) and they seem to be borrowing a page from Arjen Lucassen (sorry if I butchered the spelling) . They could certainly do worse. Great song and reaction!

A hell of a grand sweeping power epic here!! Is that Mark doing most of the growls Tauri...sounds like him. This EP should go platinum! Gives me chills on this one. I read Mark reached out to them with rough drafts of two songs and Fleshgod gave back a combo of both songs. Simone only gets better and better. Yes I am still on high from concert last week. Great reaction Tauri...as always! Thank you for doing this. Ordered my copy of EP!
