Wow. Shortly after Epica releases a game-changer as far as symphonic metal DVDs are concerned, they come around and release what is shaping up to be the most definitive album of their career. Hard to believe Epica was able to crank out so much fantastic music in just a few months! I also have to give special kudos to Jacob Hansen and Joost for getting such incredible sounds out of the band, this is definitely the best Epica mix yet!

I love how promising this sounds! I truly love how well they always get the elements together. I wouldn't change a thing about the setup from before. It's how they go from beautiful fragile female voices to powerful choirs and grunts together with really great and powerful riffs, that makes Epica uniqe. I always thought many bands change their song to suit a symphonic sound. This is written from the beginning to be symphonic! Listen 4:23 in the clip. I get goose bumps when I heard that short part. Also starting from 5:34 is what i mean. Truly amazing in my ears I have ordered the album, and I can't wait to hear it after this sneak peak.

Actually I did get my contract renewed and sang bass for the new album. After how much people liked the Quantum Enigma, I am very excited for the release of the new album, as EPICA went all out and are going to be having a bigger orchestra and had their biggest choir yet. I'm not allowed to say much more than that, but judging from the parts I sang in, it will be an excellent album!

I think it will gonna "sound like" Design your Universe and Consign to Oblivion, becouse they follow a kind of saga.
