Great video. I actually live on the Frontline in Belgium. I often make day trips on my motorcycle to see the land and honor those men who have fallen. Even German sites and cemetery's. Soldiers do what comes from higher hand. In my opinion the loss of a German soldier is as bad as any other. Somewhere, someone grieved over the loss of their loved ones. Keep up these informative videos. Also those of the Napoleonic era.
@BillyBob-qu1fs2 жыл бұрын
This point right here is why I hate the demonification of every german soldier. I get it, bad man was bad, but the people were just people trying to live in the realities of their lives.

When i see documentaries like that, no mathe of area, it always shows that battleground/area is like a chessboard where leaders, who no one needs) try to implement power without asking or carrying about people. All this is so fu(kin wrong. Leaders have NO power AT. ALL.

Tommaso Rucci Erwin Rommel was World War 2 I think anyone who understood the allied invasion of Europe is thankful he didnt have final say and Hitler's incompetence is what fails the nazis. However what I said holds true to the same germans who fought in WW1 became high ranking officers for soldiers in WW2
@tommasorucci40887 жыл бұрын
Jcurvs99 you are indeed right, the Germans really had something more when it came to military. And furthermore I believe Rommel fought in ww1 didn't he? Italian front I think, where he earned a lot of medals for his bravery. I may be mistaken though.
@The_yeffy17 жыл бұрын
Tommaso Rucci yup he took part in the battle of Argonne as well and during operation Valkyrie when the plot failed to kill Hitler it was found out that he had taken part in the planning of overthrowing the SS. So to ensure that his family would be unharmed he volunteered to end his life as punishment. That is a real man he gave his life to protect his family
