10:15 - i feel like the word marc johnson is looking for is literally chocolate. it's smooth and it's got flavor. one of those perfect brand names that fits the vibe exactly.

That's cool that Chris Miller was the guy on his walls, Kenny Anderson was the guy on my walls growing up and the shoes I skated for years, he's still one of my favorite skaters today. Love Adio, Kenny Anderson, Chocolate, and Jerry Hsu forever, you guys are the best.

I'm sure that right now every young buck is extremely pumped on their life. An their experiences and that's dope!! But I have to say growing up in the late 90s starting in like 89 and coming to age in like 1999-2000.... experiencing skateboarding in my late teens or early twenties was amazing. I wouldn't trade it. ☮️

fun to see this kind of stuff and be like "oh yeah, right here is around the time I started getting into it." the era of 411. One of my first boards that I really remember was a kenny anderson planet earth board my parents bought me from play-it-again sports.

Girl/Chocolate boards would be my favorite again if they went back to having their boards made in america. Cause they suck now, all I skated when I was a lil kid was dlx & girl wood. Then I noticed Girl wood started chipping & breaking on me faster. I figured it out on my own they were being made with cheaper materials. So I've been skating dlx since then. It's been about 8 or 9 years.

Văn Trần Same shit the last Girl deck I had was a Malto board like 5 years ago and same shit it chipped and was destroyed so easily. Now I ride an element Nyjah pro model and it’s actually a really good board

.. same Canadian mapple veneers. Same Mexicans press the boards. Same climate, same glue. Same boards. You just changed broth. Girl and chocolate always was soggy. It was just that all the best people where on there so it felt more superior

MackinShizzaveli #WeWasCavemen You could argue that hip-hop/rap has always been inherently homophobic and sexist/misogynistic. Although it seems like the new wave of the genre has definitely improved in that sense. It's a lot more tolerant and accepting now among the younger crowd than it was back then or with the "old heads" lol
