I am confused! If this allowed according to a scholar, both married couple are non-muslims, woman decide to become a muslim but her husband doesn't, she lives with him, wouldn't that mean shes committing zina since Quran forbids woman marrying a non-muslim.

As the sheikh explains around 32:00 there is a difference in initiating a marriage and continuing an existing marriage. Also we can be confident that Umar al-khattab (ra) and Ali (ra) understood the Quran's prohibition better than we do yet permitted this.

In my opinion, and i have to say it frankly since it is the core of my opinion, the scholars were happy to be so unanimous about muslim women not being allowed to marry out of the muslim community. The mushrikuun and the mushrikaat in surat al baqara don't include people of the book. Why would Allah 3azza wa jal forbid men to marry mushrikaat and to allow them marry "people of the book" if mushikaat were people of the book ? Does this make sense ? To make what i woul like to be a long comment short : Anyway, Allah 3zza wa jal always, without any exception, through the whole Quran, makes a clear distinction between the mushrikuun, the people of the book and the kaafiruun amongst the people of the book. Do the so well educated scholars do not know this ? 🤔

@@eshraqsalahuddin115 Firstly, I am not a brother, I am a woman. You would see this if you read my name properly (is Aisha the name of a man?) which goes to show that you blindly make assumptions. Secondly, I have not used any harsh words. I am repeating the exact same words used by Yasir in his talk and I have not mentioned any harsh words at all. So for you to claim that I am talking harshly is a false fabrication. Thirdly, he talks about his personal belief that preseminal fluid is not najaas, he does not talk about the ruling, but his own personal belief. Well his personal beliefs has no place in this kind of discussion, he should only stick to facts and the rulings and this should be the only information that he gives us. Not his own personal beliefs, some of which are not correct, such as this topic.

First of all does it really matter if I read your name carefully, Asalamualikum brother/sister is general way to say salam and you know that right? Pointing out small details/mistakes shows that you are extremely judgmental person. Next thing you will do is try to find my spelling mistakes. Now come to the main point that really matters. I agree with you that scholar should not present their own view, they should only tell us the fact/information from the Hadith and Quran. That is the reason I prefer Yasir Qadhi over other scholars (I have listened many) In this video and or any other video that I have watched so far I can’t remember Yasir Qadhi gave his own opinion without backing it up from any source. Reply with video minutes ie: 13:45 where he presented his own ideas/opinions without references. You actually didn’t say any hurst word but the way you wrote your comment it was surely hurst towards scholar like YQ. You may not agree with scholar but Please try to give respect. Also don’t just watch video for judgmental purposes. May Allah guide us all.

More you study ,more expert you become in thelogy, psychology, sociology, criminology, family law , Linguistics, etc . You should enrol yourself to the learning about Islam.
