إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ Innee wajjahtu wajhiya lillathee fataraassamawati wal-arda haneefanwama ana mina almushrikeen Indeed, I have turned my face toward He who created the heavens and the earth, inclining toward truth, and I am not of those who associate others with Allah . إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۖ وَبِذَٰلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ inna salatee wanusukee wamahyaya wamamatee lillahi rabbil aalameen. Allah tests those whom he loves. The best Muslims were tested in unimaginable ways and Allah only does so to increase their reward and bring them closer to him. I urge you to learn how the greatest man our beloved prophet Muhammed SAW suffered and battled with poverty and hunger even though he was a prophet. And know that a dua is never gone to waste it done sincerely, either Allah accepts and gives you what you ask for exactly,uses it to ward off a calamity that was heading towards you or keeps it as a good deed for the day of judgment. Learn the prophetic duas and use them in times where duas are most likely to be accepted like the last third of the night, in sujood and during the end of your salat. Lastly be patient, for even prophets don’t gain what they ask for without being patient.
