ما شاء الله So true, the contentment is what sets believers apart from disbelievers in every day life. Here in Switzerland I see people chasing after something new every week. The latest fashion, that extra special make-up product, that new workout routine, the new superfood that is going to solve their health issue. They constantly compare themselves to their neighbors and relatives in terms of wealth and success, yet they forget to be grateful and they can't stand when you exude that kind of modest happiness, even when your life is far from perfect. So you rather keep to yourself and watch J.A.R. episodes in the shade of your fig tree. May Allah reward you with the best of this life and the hereafter Shaykh for this reminder.

Allah swt guarantees a Happy life (being content even if tested by trials). 1.Who does righteous deeds: E.g Salah, fasting, charity, Umrah, visiting sick, smiling, being good to parents, good manners, helping others ... 2. Have Imaan (faith) E.g Having sincere believe in Oneness of God. Not committing SHIRK. Having complete trust in Allah swt Grateful during blessings Patient during trials (for rewards).
