I used to be such a strong ambitious and admirable young man. Got lost in haram and now I’m nothing but a shell of a person. 22 but feels like I’m an old sickly man. I have lost every aspect of me that made me proud of myself. I have become pitiful and weak. It was fun at the start and next thing you know a couple years have gone by and you’ve done nothing but kill your source of life . Please brothers and sisters, if you are thinking of trying drugs wallah it is not worth it. It’s all fun till your soul is no longer alive , just surviving. Your drug friends that you think are your brothers or sisters from another mother will sell you out in an instance. Feds done a sweep and all my “brothers” that I’ve known for years upon years sold me out. The one I’ve known for the least amount of time was 6-7 years. I knew them before the drugs but they just change everything. I pray to Allah that all of you stay away from these useless things. Persevere your soul or it’ll end up like mine.

Brother inshallah u will be okay. Ur still very young and u can gain ur strength back. Ive been smoking weed for over 10 years and Ive been struggling to completely stop for a few months now n even tho im not there ive been saying major progress. 1. You must have intention. If u just wait for ur life to get better brother it never will. The intention must be there. 2. You must have a plan because humans are naturally goal orientated. Set a goal that u wanna stop and create steps to get there. 3. Understand it will be a long road. You will relapse, maybe even a few times. You will have highs and lows. You will be scared and u will feel terrible withdrawls. But u must keep fighting. Most important thing brother is please please please find someone u can speak to. Go to ur imaam go to ur family. Anybody brother. Once u walk down this path allah will make it easier for u.

That’s not the point brother. Weed is a gateway drug and an intoxicant so it’s haram either way. Even if there may be people who can smoke weed and function within society there are just as many who became addicted to worse drugs due to the influence of weed. Intoxicants have no place in islam according to the hadith and the quran and anyone who has been high knows that what the brother is saying is true, intoxicants invite shaytan and are a transgression against Allah swt simple as that. I used to suffer from major depressive disorder and the only thing that got me up and helped me be productive were drugs. Of course there were negative things that happened as well but I'm just telling the truth. They also helped me sleep soundly. I still want to quit but it's hard. It's all around me.
