Ever wondered what Linkin Park Numb would sound like played by an orchestra?
Well the Epic Orchestra has arranged Numb by Linkin Park into what hopefully can be described as Epic Music!
Any requests then please feel free to leave a comment stating what you'd like to hear, also let me know you're favourite artist and song that you're currently listen to!

▶Lyrics:
I'm tired of being what you want me to be
Feeling so faithless, lost under the surface
Don't know what you're expecting of me
Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes
(Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow)
Every step that I take is another mistake to you
(Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow)
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there
Become so tired, so much more aware
I'm becoming this, all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you
Can't you see that you're smothering me
Holding too tightly, afraid to lose control?
'Cause everything that you thought I would be
Has fallen apart right in front of you
(Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow)
Every step that I take is another mistake to you
(Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow)
And every second I waste is more than I can take
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there
Become so tired, so much more aware
I'm becoming this, all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you
And I know
I may end up failing too
But I know
You were just like me with someone disappointed in you
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there
Become so tired, so much more aware
I'm becoming this, all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there
(I'm tired of being what you want me to be)
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there
(I'm tired of being what you want me to be)

For a song with the title "Numb" this certainly gives a full range of emotions.

@Gerhard Schöner Thanks for your analysis on what's considered 'art' and therefore would have varying affects on people. Glad to know that you're limited to 2? or maybe 3 emotions involved in this song.

@Gerhard Schöner people are different. When I was 4-5 years old I hated Mozart's music because it was too happy and lacked depth. In an opinion of a 5-year-old, who hadn't been really influenced by any sort of propaganda. Art can convey different emotions and art conveying only happiness lacks depth just as much as art that conveys only sadness. But I still have to encounter a piece of art that is so one-sided, because I typically don't consider such things art.

Musicians are such a gift to this world for what they contribute. This is so beautiful, it brings tears to my eyes thinking about Chester. It’s so sad that some of the most talented artists are the most tortured souls. Their music is an outlet for their pain but at the end of the day, they can’t outrun their demons. R.I.P. to all the great ones.🤘🏽

I am completely with you about Chester. Out of all the celebrity deaths his has hit me the hardest. I've felt fractured, broken, insane, and even if it was just art at least his vocals made it sound like someone else out there understood me. Chester got me through some of the worst points in my life. But it wasn't just art. He felt it too, and even though his music has helped so many people he couldn't help himself. I will always miss him, and I never even met the guy.
@CurvyAries

@Gerhard Schöner ..1st of all, let's see if you have a basic grasp on the English language, shall we? "Demons" can be considered something that is personally troubling to an individual, such as drugs and alcohol. Those can be examples of someone's personal demons that have a negative impact on their life. I wasn't speaking spiritually as in actual demons from Hell. I was speaking metaphorically. By you saying "it's not really demons. Artists don't become artists because there is pain", you're dismissing every artist from the past and present who ever created something great when they were inspired by some form of personal pain, therefor, you don't know what you're talking about. You're not all knowing. You're not all seeing. You're not omnipresent. You're not a mind reader. You haven't walked in the shoes of an artist who's experienced personal tragedy and created something beautiful from it that many people later went on to enjoy and relate to. I've watched so many interviews and read so many articles with my favorite musicians who are no longer living and 1 thing they all had in common was music being an outlet for their pain. Just because someone is a creative genius, it doesn't mean they don't suffer from some type of mental illness. "Artists are being tortured and manipulated by humans mostly". Do you grasp the concept that someone suffering from mental illness isn't being "tortured by other humans"? Mental illness, such as depression and anxiety is it's own torture in and of itself, especially when it goes untreated. Many recording artists talk about music being a way to channel their negative emotions from depression and anxiety. Obviously a lot of artists suffer from drug addiction and alcoholism, which is considered a "demon" of sorts and obviously a tortured soul is someone who has their own personal demons that they struggle with. It's never smart to generalize and think you know everything across the board on all aspects of life. Do you know how many celebrities and artists are worth millions of dollars, can afford all the peace and space they need to create art, can afford the best doctors, treatment, medical care, can afford mansions and private islands where they can isolate themselves away from society and stress but they STILL COMMIT SUICIDE because at the end of they day, they can't outrun their demons and they're mentally ill. You haven't walked in the shoes of people who created phenomenal music that touched millions of people. You have no clue what truly inspired them. Saying "the world would be a better place if artists were left in peace to do what they love" is unrealistic, too simplistic and wrong.

Chesters death hit hard for me but. I had my life to live and still do. And here I am tears streaming down my face at the pure, raw talent of these people and how this song was chosen. A tribute of the ages right here folks. A shining golden master piece.

This song has incredible personal meaning to me that I won't get into for various reasons, but to hear it in this form, and the emotion that is packed into it, and the showing that music can transcend genre and style to make the feeling behind it come out, is just incredible. This randomly got recommended to me by KZbin and I have never been so glad for a recommendation. This is just amazing to listen to.

Let's go with that last one. In my opinion that would be the only "movie" situation/climax/scenario worthy of this level of orchestral beauty. I bet Chester never thought his/lp's art would reach the kind of limits it did, did you see the concert footage of fans in tears shouting the lyrics to this song to an empty stage? Yeah, that f'ing powerful. If it doesn't match that level of intensity, it's not worth it.
