They're good by western standards. But they'll never be elite. T1 and g2 have the same problem, legendary mid laners that are washed but the team can't let them go until the players are ready. This is coming from a t1 fan. Elite mid jungle is what wins these things.

Faker is a real igl he keeps that team united, he is far from being washed but his playstyle is individualy affected because he needs to focus on making calls and strats ingame thats why the igl should be a support unf keria is way 2 unexperienced.

Although Caps had a good start, he made to many mistakes as the game progressed. Moreover, the draft by G2 was kinda bad. If you wanna play double AD, you could probably ban Jax. Also, regardless of double AD and not banning Jax, I think they should have picked a better AD than Ezreal; cait can hold her own down there.

@@firstnamelastname754 He was definitely more balanced in the past when he used to rush old Trinity Force, before the item reworks and MUH ABILITY HASTE meta... He was always a strong duelist and great scaler, but you could punish him more easily in lane... After he got the Sheen power spike he needed to get to Trinity Force to get another significant boost to his overall power... Now getting Warhammer and Kindlegem with ability haste makes him harder to punish until he reaches his first full item... After that it seems like his cooldowns are never down... He jumps in, counter strike, waits 2 seconds and can jump back out, another 3 sec and counter-strike is back up. I never liked Renekton due to how stupidly opressive he is in lane and boring to play against, but at least he falls off late game... The fact that he can't do anything against Jax early game when that is suppose to be his advantage in the matchup kind of speaks volume.

He's just very good all-around in every facet of the game and has no big weaknesses you can really punish. Everything else you pick is just like a weaker version of something that's particularly better in some specific niche that you might be able to exploit.

RIOT: This should be about showcasing your champions. I think you should make a rule that, when you select a champion, the next your those champions are blocked out. This will make this much more interesting to watch. Its the same old boring champions that they use. Whats the point of a ban when you have 100 champions and only the same 10-15 are banned and played? If you want to test skills who is the best in the world, then implement this rule. MAKE champions not usable in the next round for best of 3s and next two rounds for best of 5s.

So many things wrong with this game from G2. Awful pick/ban, they either don't understand the meta or they have the hubris to play off meta and give Xayah-Rakan to Gen G (also what's up with the Lissandra pick? And the renek and ez picks? Lol). They had no respect on opposite side plays (e.g. they took 2 turrets top with herald and 4 players just to give 2 turrets, 2 deaths, and dragon). They gave free teamfights and ints (the 5v5 dragon fight that Gen G allowed them to take for free engage and then the baron int immediately after that). It just feels like G2 either thinks they need to play in a quirky way to win or that they're so stuck in the EU strats that they don't realize how much free gold and pressure they're constantly giving Gen G, especially while Gen G is on red side. I hope G2 makes quarters, but they really need to sit down and review this game from an LCK lense. Otherwise they'll walk into quarters and int 3 games.
