Amazing how both teams were even in teamfighs for the first half but T1 was still ahead in towers, got every dragon, gold leads for most individual lanes. Korean macro is something else. EDIT: meant "macro" instead of "meta"

It's not the Korean meta, it's the meta for everyone but t1 just abuses it and is using it more efficiently than others. Their glow up came from the fact that their entire early game is clean therefore whenever a fight starts they already have a advantage to win a fight depending on a comp or just get ahead in general since they're picking comps that relies heavily fighting in early to mid game to make sure it doesn't reach into the 25-30min range where scaling champs just pops you.

At 12:30, faker decides to not run into Bin to prevent Bin from getting any extra gold. Commentator said Faker was trying to burst a last kill, even though it was simply Faker swinging while dying, not just gonna sit there and die (similar to how baseball players still swing the bat if they know they're going to strikeout. Called following through). 29:09 AND 37:10 is the T1 flow i fell in love with. All those games back then with kkoma, Bengi, Wolf, Bang, others. When they do the 4v5 fights, it was always a masterclass of teamfighting. The misdirects using vision and objective baiting. It always felt like signature T1 plays. If they keep playing like that. Like THAT. Its definitely 5th in the bag. It really makes all other games they did seem like trolling 😆 and just limit testing and practice since they would have issues getting practice and scrimmages because of ddos.

this is against maybe the best team in the world, lpl number 1, t1 controlled objectives really well and rotated so clean but game momentum only swung when faker got caught top (held flash too long) and zeus died 1v1, the teamfighting was also really good, like oner engage onto both carries at baron, and the last teamfight with faker and keria catching them off gaurd

It was not close bro stop. That was a loss the moment jhin had that quad. That point there is no "close" it was a desperation attempt to reclaim their gold lead and failed at doing so while failing to pull off what their comp was meant to do. T1 is struggling much like many other teams here, the only ones performing as expected are HLE, GenG, Fly, and G2. Other than that all teams are underperforming. And when I mention Fly i dont mean them being good, they are doing what we expect out of an NA team, winning easy games and losing to the ones they should lose to.

Majority of people have GenG to win worlds BLG 2nd, but we have seen top teams fumble before. Now BLG is not out yet and their next opponent is a western team unless they draw WBG that they should beat. Meaning BLG still can make it to the 2/2 bracket where they won't play T1 assuming t1 doesn't win win the 2-1 bracket. Also most of the tough opponents will qualify in the 2-1 bracket unless they play each other, so for BLG it should be 2 easier bo3's,

Because 1) if you go standard laning phase when your level 1 match up is unfavourable, you’re gonna lose the lane and lose even more turret plates. 2) facilitate jungle so that they can focus on getting levels and clearing before resetting the lane swap once ADs are level 3 or 4
