Its the fifth season of La Sportiva Living Legends and we have some incredible stories to share with you, first up Swiss Bouldering World Champion, Petra Klingler.
Growing up on the mountainous outskirts of Zurich, Petra's childhood and surroundings were the ideal place to hone her skills as a climber in the outdoors. However Petra's story begins with her biggest hurdle, something which almost stopped her climbing career before it had even started.

Ich denke, dass es solchen Formaten guttäte, die Sportler in ihrer Muttersprache reden zu lassen und Untertitel auf Englisch hinzuzufügen. Das bei Vielen unerträgliche Gestammel auf Englisch oder pseudolässige Ami-Gegatze geht mir auch immer auf die Nerven.

@@Cookie_Monster42 Gestammel ist gut. Dem Mædl würd's besser zu Gesicht stehen, wenn sie so schwætzen wùrd, wie ihr der Schnabel gwachsn ist. Dachte anfangs sie ist Amerikanerin 🤣

Ist doch einfach Tatsache, dass englisch heutzutage eher amerikanisch als britisch ist, als Athletin, die weltweit unterwegs ist und mit internationalen Kollegen und Sponsoren spricht also auch verständlich, dass ihr Akzent in die Richtung geht. Muss ja nicht künstlich sein, sondern antrainiert durch häufige Nutzung Find ich auch gut, wenn sie versucht die Sprache so gut wie möglich zu sprechen und nicht zu übertrieben mit Schweizer Akzent spricht. Seh das Problem hier echt gar nicht.

Very nice to hear a pro climber taking out the pressure on easy outdoor climbs and saying outdoor climbing can be very challenging even on easy grades, if it's not your style.
