Why? He showed you the way to do it the easy way How to fix: 1. Go buy SUV 2. Tow car out of snow with SUV
@20gash644 жыл бұрын
So the easy way is to have a spare truck to pull you out ???? Wtf

There were moments here where if that car had hit some sudden traction you could have been pushed under the wheel by the door or had your hand ripped off if the front tyre started rolling.

The trick with pushing is the driver and the pusher need to work together and not against each other. Your girlfriend was just laying on the gas. If she would have gassed, let go, gassed, let go as she rocked back and forward, it probably would of went out because you were really close. Also, sprinkling a bunch of salt would have melted some of the ice.

Yes two things 1. Put windshield washer fluid under the back wheels. 2. Left foot on break..when the farthest back break right there...then go forward and stop at the highest spot....then back and break right at the highest spot....it will pop out

Best comment right here. You want to rock the vehicle back and forth, gently. A 5,000 lbs. vehicle can generate a lot of momentum even if it is only moving back and forth a few inches at a time. Do it SLOWLY... Slamming on the gas pedal will get you NOWHERE. Also, snow tires are truly amazing. Not “winter” tires (which are just all-season tires), but actual SNOW tires. My Hyundai Sonata with snow tires can out-perform a 4WD SUV with all-season tires any day.

If you’re car is stuck in snow you could use you’re floor mats , you could lower tire pressure and make sure you tread on you’re tires before you go in snow

On December 17, 2020, it was very snowy where I was and my mom drove her car on our lawn and she had trouble getting it off and I gave her car a push because I am so strong and I pushed her car as hard as I could and her car moved and drove off the lawn and onto the driveway!

As a Coloradan, I'm shocked that you didn't change to snow tires at least a month before snow season to avoid surprises. Even if you get your unstuck--good luck in driving anywhere but that parking space in those conditions! Secondly, you accelerate waaay to fast and you really could have lost a body part when the car suddenly breaks free like a horse out of the gate at the Kentucky Derby. Lastly, cardboard? Try using the rubber tracks you can buy, cat litter or sand, as well as de-icing fluid. I've also found old clothes in my trunk to be perfect lol.

Just a caution about pulling your car out with a rope or chain, make sure both of your vehicles are back to back like in this video, and don't have anybody sit in the back seat. If you are using a chain and it breaks and snaps back, it will likely cut right through the glass and get you as well. In my opinion, I would just put my car into neutral and get out of the car, and stay well away while someone is pulling it.

My next door neighbor Kevin’s driveway was extremely icy and he had a hard time getting his car to move. And Kevin got angry and started yelling and he was cursing as well. His lawn was slippery as well and he continued to try and move his car and his car ended up sliding down his lawn and he got even angrier and he yelled and cursed even more then he had to end up knocking on my front door to ask my grandmother if he could move her car out of the driveway and on the side of the road just so he could move his car off his lawn. Kevin borrowed my grandmother’s keys and drove her car out of our driveway and parked on the side of the road and he got out of my grandmother’s car and got in his car and drove his car off his lawn and drove through the back of my driveway to the front of my driveway and his car was free. And he drove my grandmother’s car back to where it was before he moved it off my driveway and gave my grandmother her keys back. And Kevin was free to go to where he needed to go.

in europe we do it like this take the rubber floor mats put it under the back of the wheels on each side so they can catch traction :D:D:D:D

Is this what having a stroke feels like. Like why even post this… Those who are actually needing real advice, do not I repeat do not drive like the girl did in this video. You do not just floor it when you’re stuck ever. The “black ice” he was talking about under the tires was literally caused by her spinning the tires that bad. I cannot believe he let her keep doing that, I know he kept telling her, but there comes a point where I’m removing you from my driver seat myself if you’re gonna keep doing that lol. Bad on too many levels
@karankhatrao4 жыл бұрын
Just go forward and backward do not let the tires role it will come out very easily and smoothly

@AppiesouthVespagang3 жыл бұрын
The problem is that you push the pedal waaaaaaay too hard while trying to push the car. Also you should never do that with an open door behind you. The way your wheel turns so fast, burning your tires and melting the snow digging into the ice, this was a waste of time lol
@fonz1anddone7133 жыл бұрын
You can't blast your way out by spinning the tires you only create more slick. This girl was literally incapable of tapping gas lightly. Its possible all the tricks could've worked with better driver. Oh and a sprinkle of catlitter??? U got a whole bag throw that shit down and go???
