Absolutely amazing what you do for us poker players that dont have money or resources to afford coaching but love poker. All the blessings to you and hope to meet you in person one day.

I think what rampage means with "I should bet a lot of the time" in the 88's hand is that his range should bet on this bosrd a lot of the time. I don't know that I agree necessarily, but I don't think he was talking about 8's specifically being played with a mixed strategy. Then again... I'm probably wrong 😅

nice to be called mid tier player by the man, because i thought almost exactly as Charlie explained at 2:15, glad i can compete at 2nl with this :D

My frustration with poker at the moment is that I am kinda studying and getting my head around åoker theory, range analysis, hand reading and developing various lines that my rangr can take in various spots vs their range. And I keep finding myself in hands where I construct what I consider to be rather beautiful lines that should put my opponents range in truly terrible spots. Then, as I am snap called by top pair 3rd kicker on a paired, coordinated suited board that smacks my range right in the face after c/r the flop, barreling the turn and jamming the river I wake up and remember I'm stuck trying to get out of 5NL and these kinds of spots are why I can't seem to do that 🤣

Find small ways to bluff and big ways to value bet and this problem melts away
@ArsenalMMAandFitness2 жыл бұрын
At the micros they tend to over-fold flop/turn and end up with a stronger than normal range on the river, which makes taking lines like that as a bluff much riskier.

@BjerkeRobin2 жыл бұрын
@@CharlieCarrel yeah, I'm starting to realise this. Also, I tend to phase into a mindset where I try to force the action. I feel like I HAVE to win every spot, when the fact is that when I have my mental game in check the spots seem to come to me rather than me to them.
@solverapproved2 жыл бұрын
if you are as balanced as you should be in that spot, then you will squeeze so much money when u have the value part of ur range (and it should be more than ur bluff range) that it will largely compensate all the losses and much more from the failed bluffs. if u keep getting hero called when u bluff but not when u value, u should reconsider wether u truly play those lines with ur value as often as you should

Hi Charlie, in the first hand when UTG opens and UTG+1 calls, is K10ss deffo a call from the CO? What’s the worst hand you would call here (cos I might fold). Great analysis as always
@nikolaykomissarenko78222 жыл бұрын
Suited broadways are pretty fine multiway, some of them decide to raise, but id say pretty easy call. Basically if you have 2 cards 9 or higher that are suited you can call.

Okay if you’re playing something like online 10NL 25NL, you’re either 3 bet or folding because the rake is horrid But in this environment you can definitely call the hand bro, hand makes straights which interact v strong hands like AK AQ AA JJ etc etc and bigger flushes, think about what happens when the money goes in what do the boards look like x
@IResistanceI072 жыл бұрын
Charlie, I know you don’t like blockers, but wouldn’t it be a call if Rampage had AQ instead of AK on the AT8K hand?
@TedsonJones2 жыл бұрын
Means 12 combos of QJ instead of 16. Significant if our opponent bluffs a lot here, but pretty irrelevant if they rarely do. Given the action, it's reasonable to assume that this villain is in the latter category.

Me with that 4 bet ♡KK on cash i sure the best thing is going allin. A fold good choice mahbe a call AK..AA..where a little bad..but he must do the call to check ko A on flop. Maybe..or to take the best profit..but uou must be careful.

Actually, if a 4 hit on the turn, I would've checked to make them think that I wanna slow down because I was semi bluffing on the flop and I didn't hit the turn, if they bet , I'll just call and trap

In the first hand you address the worst, mediocre and best players (raise, call, raise). Where does that leave me on the scale? I fold, because I'm not 'feeling it'.
