Got my made in May 2022 Bird a few weeks ago, Epiphone have really upped their game, what a great guitar.

I've had mine for 6 or 7 months. Sounds absolutely wonderful but the fretwork is sketchy. Above 12th fret really needs leveled. Can't get the action where I want it due to this

I'd like to see the Duesenberg trem on the Firebird !!! I'd say that it would compliment the Firebird a hell of a lot more than the Harley Benton !!!

Since a real Gibson Firebird is around $6000 the Epi is as good as it gets.

Exactly. And recently I'm playing it through an old Marshall Valvestate amp - it sounds great 🙂

Really weird feeling guitars where it feels like the neck is way over to the left. Great looking though.

I notice that a lot less when standing with it on a strap. But sitting down it takes some getting used to.

Been listening to this guitar on a few KZbin posts and is it me or does it sound incredibly scratchy? I know it's not meant to have the thickness of a LP but the sound it makes makes my teeth ache. Nothing to do with the playing BTW.

I’ve been using the neck or ‘both’ pickups most of the time, and am enjoying it :-) To be honest, I’ve not found the right volume/tone setting and amp settings for the bridge pickup to satisfy me as much yet. The whole package is very different to the LP’s I’ve had.

I think it's not scratchy maybe the internet compressing the files..mine isn't scratchy remember it is a mini firebird pups..

It certainly is. I’ve taken it to a couple of gigs now and one coming up in the weekend. I’m loving it. I just needed to get used to how long it is :-)
