Great demo. Not only was Jimi extremely creative with his music, he was also very creative with the paints.

Great playin' and excellent tones, as always. This JTM45 deserves a video. Thumbs up, of course!

Imagine the look on Hendrix's face had you told him a replica of his guitar would be made in 2024.

It sounded great. Thanks for the demo. I just think regardless of the name on the headstock, if it sounds great, plays great, and is well made - end of story. It's a great guitar

Mother of pearl inlays, but an Indian laurel fretboard?

doesn't make any sense huh. Not sure why Gibson can't just use indian rosewood like all other import guitars and charge an extra $10

This is Epiphone and not Gibson 🙂🙂 they sometimes use rosewood on some models but it's true they've been using Indian laurel for several years... The reason is that the C.I.T.E.S organization ( that protects endangered species ) declared that rosewood was one... Consequently all the guitar brands had to comply and find alternate tonewoods for their fingerboards... Some brands used Pau Ferro, jatoba, even poplar...Or synthetic rosewood... In Epiphone's case they had to keep their stocks of rosewood aside and reserve it for special series... But understandably after purchasing LOTS of Indian laurel they can't simply throw it away because of the huge investment... I'm like you : I love rosewood and there's no substitute for it but Epiphone thinks in terms of business... Thankfully rosewood is no longer an endangered species ( as far as guitar brands are concerned ) so the ban is lifted... Epiphone will surely go back to using rosewood once their stocks of Indian laurel are gone...@@brunoantony9257

the fact you highlight every detail of the specs but ommit the fingerboard until late, late - stale tasting!
