Good video. I have a very large orchid cactus and blooms every year. Now it's March here in Canada. I've noticed pink mini buds on the stems that look like mini prickly pears. Are these pods that could be potted up? It's not flower buds because usually they appear in July. Please advise. Thanks.

Those must be new segments growing. If it's becoming too crowded, you can divide them up

Depends on the variety. This one blooms for several days continuously. Some bloom just for one night.
