Speaking of Epirus, here is an ancient quote from Aristotle, Meteorologica, Book I, (written c.350 B.C.) Quote: The deluge in the time of Deucalion, for instance, took place chiefly in the Greek world and in it especially about ancient Hellas, the country about Dodona and the Achelous, a river which has often changed its course. Here the Selli dwelt and those who were formerly called Graeci and now Hellenes.

Hendi Sulkamani Yeah but they were Hellenized already. They fought side by side with Greeks. The Arvanites and the Souliots felt nothing for Albania. They fought the Turks along side their Greek brothers for an independent free Greek nation state not for an Albanian nation or in the name of Albanianism. Sorry but that struggle has nothing to with you guys whatsoever. Their descendants today are almost fully Greek by ancestry and are 100% Hellenic Greek in culture.

Arvanites are a mix of greek and Albanians who got married to each other at byzantine and ottomans times. It's not only greek. Its not only Albanian. It's a mixed race. Arvanites. As for the music, I'm sorry dear neighbors but only greeks teached music to all over the earth. You can ask whoever hostorian you want from all over the world
@eraldo_38303 жыл бұрын
Arvanites were albanians from modern day Albania and Epirus who migranted to Attica and other parts of Greece. In the middle ages Albanians called themselves Arberor/arbreshe the slavs called us arbanski and the Greek called us Arvanites the Turks took the name from the Greek and called us as Arnauti. Arvanites weren't mixed until the creation of the greek state they marryed between each other, during the creation of the Greek state they were hellenized and assimiliated into the Greek nation. Some of them know Greeks due to the prossimity where the 2 comunity lives. In Italy we have Albanian comunity that migrated from Epirus and Morea to escape the Ottoman expansion. Here you have In the Middle Ages, the native Albanians in the area of Albania called their country Arbëri or Arbëni and referred to themselves as Arbëreshë or Arbëneshë.[11][12] In the sixteenth century, the toponym Shqipëria and the demonym Shqiptarë gradually replaced Arbëria and Arbëresh respectively. Nowadays, only the Albanians in Italy, whose ancestors immigrated from the Middle Ages, are called Arbëresh and the language Arbërisht. The term Arbëreshë is also used as an endonym by the Arvanites in Greece The Arbëreshë, between the 11th and 14th centuries, moved in small groups towards central and southern Albania and the north and south of Greece (Thessaly, Corinth, Peloponnesus, Attica) where they founded colonies. Their military skill made them favorite mercenaries of the Franks, Catalans, Italians and Byzantines. The invasion of the Balkans by the Ottoman Turks in the 15th century forced many Arbëreshë to emigrate from Albania and Epirus to the south of Italy Also some Greek believe that Albanians came in Epirus with ottoman invasion but this is false en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Sofia_d%27Epiro This is an Albanian village in south Italy those people migrated from Chameria. Read it from Italian wikipedia it is more accurate.

Second they since assimilated into the Greek ethnicity so they're no longer of the Albanian identity. And these people wanted Greece to annex Albania out right. Epirus is Greek since the beginning of history, albanians turkish sperm from the "albania of caucasus in Asia". Epirus (/ɪˈpaɪrəs/; Northwest Greek: Ἄπειρος, Ápeiros; Attic: Ἤπειρος, Ḗpeiros) was an ancient Greek state, located in the geographical region of Epirus in the western Balkans. The homeland of the ancient Epirotes was bordered by the Aetolian League to the south, Thessaly and Macedonia to the east, and Illyrian tribes to the north. For a brief period (280-275 BC), the Epirote leader Pyrrhus managed to make Epirus the most powerful state in the Greek world, and his armies marched against Rome during an unsuccessful campaign in Italy.

They are wiping out Greek or Hellas all together these days .. They believe they had Rights .. They warped the towns and raped the women of while the were fighting .. Cowards all .. My Uncle , my Nouno hails from Epirus and has told me life events from all the Invasions at that time at the age of 9 fighting off traitoring Albanians who lost there own land and the Jewish Settlement there .. Please enough with the snide remarks from the peanut gallery of thieves .. It was and never belonged to Albanians , gypsies , or any one else but the Greeks ..

This is traditional music from mainland Greece, especially on the mountain regions of Thessaly, Epirus and west Macedonia. Foreigners are used the most in music from the islands and Athens because these are the tourist areas.

The sound of Q, which he pronounces, it doesnt exist in Greek(Native greek speakers cannot pronounce it). If you are greek or albanian you know what im talking about. That makes this guy 100% Albanian. 1.:36-1:38 Listen closely.
