Been saying it for years, Liverpool over reliance on Hospitality sector was a big Gamble, lived through the 80s under THATCHERISM, dark days, north sea oil paid for the Benefits etc, now God help us, back working outa Town! Oh yea Hatton Era arrived, turbulent times.

Joe A was powerful because he had the backing of the people. The people believed in Joe - so know they know. - we are done ✅ it’s a different era . The Manchester thing has been a thing since objective one. It’s bigger than our city (business wise more open than our city). They are our nearest partners nearest allies (lets pretend) . For whatever reason they are leading but we can’t let that hold us back. We need to get on board with digital training ‘ media / learning / - it’s not all about building and development.

Love him or loathe him, there's no denying that he talks a lot of sense. The city needs to get on a more level pegging with Manchester regarding business investments and that should be done by people who know business and can sell the city. We are going to have a massive dip in employment and our city is going to suffer when our hospitality sector crumbles, which it will, unless we can get people here. We need to sell our city big time.

He would be a good Mayor,hes not perfect and he's the first to admit it, if he's ripped so many people off,he's not exactly hiding is he??It was a good podcast and I came out of it liking him more than before, I do think he will be Mayor eventually.

I believe you would get the votes - you need foot soldiers - Labour will not always win- I know lots of life time labour voters who are disillusioned. Your campaign could be MY CITY - MY LIFE - OUR CITY - YOUR LIFE then take it from there - do the math. Let’s say 55.000 - by the number of people who watch this and every other podcaster that would support you - and then pledges to get 10 everyone gets 10- who get 10 - who get 10 - who get 10. Providing everything is above board - I think you could do it. The soul is being smashed out of the city.
